Introducing Duodecimo |

Prize-winning chamber choir Duodecimo was founded in 1998 by a group of twelve musical friends who enjoyed singing together. Whilst remaining small, the choir has grown since then to around twenty members, enabling us to perform works both as an independent group and in collaboration with other societies. The choir remains ambitious, performing its own programmes of music which range from the sacred and spirituals through madrigals to folk, traditional and popular music and also larger works such as the 'St John Passion' with orchestra. Duodecimo mainly perform in and around Manchester, but also travel to venues in the North West and beyond. Duodecimo have also had success in competition, winning two prizes at the Peterborough Festival in 2003.
